try using this combo i think it works well after the patch:
1-Bonettis
2-Cyclone
3-Healing Hands [E]
4-Shielding Hands
5-Balthazars Aura
6-Vigorous Spirit
7-Live Vicariously
8-Mending
Attributes:
Healing Prayers-10
Smiting Prayers-9
Protection Prayers-5
Axe Mastery-9
Tactics-9
Equip another axe and a mo attribute *not divine favor* energy item, and switch to that when u cast BA.
The sequence i do is this: round em up, attack one, then its 3,2,1,6,2,1,4,2,1,*switch sets*,5,2,1,3,2,1,6,2,1,4,2,1,*switch*,5,2,1,2,1,3 ,2,1, then keep doing that until they are dead....usually takes only 2 casts of BA. ENJOY!

Yep those skills work well - good thinking with the monk weapon though! I have to wait for energy to be up to use BA and this will speed it up now!

Build I use with great success:
Orison
Balth. Aura
Bonetti's
Healing Hands
Healing Breeze
Zealot's Fire
Balth. Spirit
Mending
Use whatever weapon you want. I use the HoD sword, but it really doesn't matter.

What skills I put my Monk Elementalist? I wanna do LARGE Griffon Runs. So I think I put attributes like this: Healing 9, Smiting, 14 Protection, 14 and end of my guy, some points for Earth Magic, to get good Earthquake and Aaftershock ...

you need to run a 105/85/55 build. buy crap armor and load it with 5 superior runes.
Healing needs to be high enough to give you 4 pips for mending and 8 pips for breeze.
Divine Favor should be atleast 7
then everything else into healing/prot(protective is reliant on prot)
use Protective Spirit + Balthazars Spirit + Mending + Balthazars Aura + Zealot's Fire + Essence Bond + Orison + Healing Breeze.
round em up and cast away.
it helps to have an Enchantment Wrap (+10%)
if you have Shield of Judgement you can get away with not having the Orison

my own personal w/mo build with as much punch as possible without dying
cyclone
gladiators
bonettis
vigorous spirit
live vicariously
balthazar spirit
balthazars aura
symbol of wrath
can shove in 11 points in smite for pretty decent double AOE damage from both balthazars and symbol, and hold gladiators on as long as possible.

Well, I can get 81% of a skill point per run now. Thank you 15,000exp skill points.
I think the best move is to drop Zealouts Fire, if you are a W/Mo.
The drops are still margional, but I am after skill points, not drops.

As I understand it, (I don't play monk) you cannot round up all the griffons in Prophets path.
Monk Farmers thrive on Protective spirit reducing the damage they take to levels that Healing Breeze and Mending can recover from. So, really, you need to find some melee characters (or characters that don't strip enchantments or interupt) and fight them in small groups.
I have given you three skills, the other is Healing Hands, and Most likely, since you are a monk, you will be spamming heal spells on your self, so Zealouts fire is a good one to start with.
That's five.
Balthazars Aura is another great farming spell.
Six
be creative, read the descriptions, and see what you can come up with. Beware of skills that have a long recharge time and short durration. It can take 45 seconds or more to kill off groups.
My first farming build came from these forums, it is still a brutally strong build, but I have given up some reliability for the ability to kill huge groups with speed. I die, but I have about 1 million exp in farming alone, so know that there are more builds out there than you see on these pages. In fact, the people that I teach my builds to, never like them, and change a skill or two.
For reference, and yes riverside is (not impossible to farm) not worth the time it takes to farm.
SuperJ made this one wayyyyyy back

IIRC, Zealots doesn't work now when you use skills on yourself - it only fires when you cast something on an ally.
I've replaced it with SoW in my farming build - not ideal but does the job.
cyclone axe
bonetti's def
vig spirit
balth aura
SoW
healing breeze
sprint (or for great justice depending on where I'm farming)
live vicariously
attribs are healing 10, smiting 12, strength 1 (due to a rune), axe 9, tactics 7 (coz of nice +43 -2 shield requiring 7 in this)
cyclone + vig spirit + live vic = 20 health per swing - against 10 foes that's 200 health per!!
cyclone against a high number of foes = bonetti's active pretty much all the time -> very little damage due to evade + energy reaching max of 27 pretty fast -> balth aura and SoW easy to trigger.
Hope this helps
Rich

Well, Zealouts does work when you cast something on yourself.
Skills that still set off Zealouts:
Healing hands
Vig Spirit
Mending
Healing Breeze
the lst is huge....... any spell that targets an ally and that ally CAN be you
But, yes, Zealouts is no longer the ideal Mana/damage ratio for warriors that run stances and attack skills. Symbol of Wrath has always been a favorite of mine for farming. That's waht I replaced Zealout's with.
